Cheerful curtains

Well-chosen curtains are the key to kitchen design. Layered long curtains made of dark and heavy material have no place in the kitchen. They look heavy, unhygienic and impractical. You need light, airy, translucent curtains up to the window sill. The color of the curtains should match the tone of the walls.

It is best to give preference to light fabrics:

  • chintz;
  • tulle;
  • guipure;
  • silk.

Decorated with a lambrequin or an arch, interestingly draped, window decoration will look aesthetically pleasing and uplifting.

Notes of lightness and joy will bring curtains in polka dots or flowers. Carefree and playfulness to the kitchen interior will give curtains with animation, butterflies, birds.

On monochrome curtains will playfully look contrasting in color finishing elements:

  • ruffles;
  • bows
  • lace;
  • applique;
  • embroidery.

But all these decorations should be delicate and light, so as not to “weigh down” the overall impression of the curtains.
